From the sweatiest kraut to the finest psychedelic pop with MAQUINA. + Kelley Stoltz.
MAQUINA. came from Lisbon and went straight into our hearts. We first brought them to Barcelona in 2024, then they played Barcelona Psych Fest and Miceli Festival, and now they’re back with “Body Transmission”, a second album that’s even more physical and unhinged. Frenetic krautrock, hypnotic rhythms, industrial electronics and noise turn the room into a dancefloor where punks dance and clubbers jump around (with the odd bit of crowdsurfing thrown in). One of the best live acts around right now.
At the other end of the spectrum, Kelley Stoltz, an underground veteran and tireless craftsman of songs that move between psychedelia, garage, power pop and new wave. After almost three decades releasing records on labels such as Sub Pop and Third Man, and having played with Echo & The Bunnymen, he arrives presenting his new album, “If You Don’t Know Me, Buy Now”.
Organized by Magic Mountain x Barcelona Psych Fest
